Video is manipulated live through data and glitch processes, exposing identity as something unstable, fluid, and continuously transforming.

H'UM is the electroacoustic duo formed by Rosario Di Rosa (live electronics, synthesizers, samplers, turntable feedback) and Nicola Vacca (drums and electronics). Born from the encounter between sound as matter and percussion as rhythmic architecture, the project builds dense and unpredictable electroacoustic landscapes where improvisation and composition blur until they become indistinguishable. After the two albums Zehra (2020) and News from the Es (2021), H'UM returns with a new lineup and a new energy: same DNA, new chemistry.

A meeting between two islands and two distant but complementary sound worlds. Rosario Di Rosa brings his noise/glitch aesthetic — abrasive electronic matter, errors as compositional choices, irregular and unpredictable textures. Stefano Guzzetti — a Sardinian composer of international standing, with releases on Deutsche Grammophon and collaborations with Lisa Gerrard — brings his deep affection for the sounds of vintage 1980s computers, sonic environments charged with analogue memory and a luminous fragility. The duo seeks neither synthesis nor mediation: it explores the tension between these two universes, letting past and present challenge and contaminate each other.
