A new electronic music album will soon be released by Amsterdam-based Shimmering Moods Records, one of Europe's most prestigious labels for Ambient and experimental music.

 

The sound material of 'I want to hear and see everything' comes from a process of creation and manipulation of a sound diary developed during the preparation of a parallel project dedicated to the Sicilian writer Gesualdo Bufalino.

"Over the past few years, I have shaped most of the sounds in this work, following a stylistic direction that I would define as 'rough lyrical', which has been constantly evolving over time. In addition, compared to previous works, a characteristic that seems to emerge strongly is the proximity to a sound world that reflects certain visual and iconic peculiarities of Sicily.

After a long preparation of the sounds, the ten compositions are the result of extemporaneous improvisations conceived as 'sound surfaces', now static, now dynamic, with the intention of narrating, as faithfully as possible, my personal becoming.”
